Spring has sprung! and here we are
Hello!
How are you doing? I know it's been awhile since you have heard from me. I received a promotion two years ago as the program manager for Our Water Our World, the public education program that guides folks to less toxic, effective pest problem solving, with the intention to reduce pesticides. Now you know this is what I'm all about. It has been great! It has also kept my plate extremely full without any time for staying in touch with you. Now that we are 'sheltering in place', I know that so many of us are taking advantage of this time to get outside and play in our gardens. So I thought I'd check in with you. How is it going? Are you getting outside, getting into your garden? Over the coming weeks I will share with you what I believe to be the fundamentals to growing your bountiful garden with success!
Just yesterday morning I discovered this lovely just opened! The oriental poppies are a favorite. Here I have them planted in a half barrel with my miniature nectarine. A nice addition to fill in the space, wouldn't you say. Yes, that is a calendula in the background. I have baby lettuces and fava beans in there too!
Hey, and if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me by emailing suzanne@plantharmony.org. It'll be nice to hear from you. : )
In the meantime, take good care and stay well!
