Many pesticides can be harmful to the local waterways and the environment. Learn how to grow the garden of your dreams while reducing the pesticides. Join instructors Suzanne Bontempo and Julie Barbour from Our Water Our World (OWOW). These experts have put together the best information in a series of webinars just for Sacramento gardeners. These free online classes are perfect for any level of gardener and will help you get your garden growing throughout the year without the toxic pesticides.

DESCRIPTION

Did you know simply by increasing the health of your soil you are reducing pest problems? In this class you will learn why it’s important to build soil health, what types of fertilizers to use and how to apply them, and best irrigation practices. This informative class is helpful for those starting out and also a handy refresher for more experienced gardeners.
